Laura Sandoval is the Head of Sports, Media & Entertainment Advertising at Uber. She leads the company’s efforts to help brands deepen their engagement with consumers across the Uber Ads platform. Under her leadership, Uber has partnered with the top entertainment and sports brands creating campaigns that connect directly with consumers as they go anywhere and get anything with Uber.
During her four-year tenure at Uber, Laura has been instrumental in building Uber’s new ads business from the ground up. Before Uber, she gained extensive experience in Brand, Marketing, and Sales, leading marketing and go-to-market strategies at Disney and Johnson & Johnson. Her expertise in brand partnerships and business development was honed at Univision, where she crafted initiatives that resonated with Hispanic audiences across the US.
Laura’s accomplishments have been recognized with the 2020 Carlos R. Quintanilla Distinguished Latino Alumni Award from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. This honor recognizes exceptional achievements and significant contributions to the community and society and celebrates her role in advancing Latinos in the business world. Additionally, Laura was named a "Marketer to Watch" by Marketers that Matter, further solidifying her position as a leader in the industry.
Laura holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley. Her passion for bridging cultural and industry gaps has been a driving force throughout her career, establishing her as a leader in multicultural marketing and strategy.
